Nalanda college hostel was established in 1926 and since then it has contributed to carving good personalities to the society by giving them knowledge and other different schools too .

Nalanda college hostel can be called as a place where mother Nalanda raised nurtured and brought up many of her
children.

A lot of productive students have entered the society from among the students who were in hostel during that time.

The Nalanda college hostel is approaching 100 years and highlighting the artistic skills, sport skills and organizing skills of the students living there, to polish them and to represent the hostel in the school.

The Nalanda College Hostellers’ Association was started.

AS NALANDA COLLEGE HOSTELLERS’ ASSOCIATION As hostel students, don’t forget that you are all children at mother Nalanda.

So if you are happy to be a hosteller you should be increasingly happy to be a nalandian.

SANCHALANA

The Nalanda College Hostel Day was last held in 2015 and after delay of 7 years, The Nalanda College Hostellers’ Association is ready start the legacy again and bring you the most glorious hostel day experience in the Sri Lanka.

Nalanda College Hostel Day will be written in gold letters in the history book of Nalanda.

ANANDA-NALANDA HOSTEL CRICKET ENCOUNTER

The ANANDA-NALANDA hostel cricket match organized by the Nalanda College Hostellers’ Association in conjunction with the battle of the maroons, is an opportunity to develop the camaraderie of the two hostels and polish the sporting skills of the hostel students.

LAST DAY NIGHT

It is the night to share memories with our own brothers who are leaving us after O/L exam who have been with us for 6 years.

WORLD CHILDREN’S CELEBRATION

This event organizes by the Nalanda College Hostellers’ Association for our members. Aim of this event is celebrate the world children’s day and increase the brotherhood of members.

SUGUNADASA ATUKORALA CHAMPIONS SHIELD

This cricket tournament organized annually by the Nalanda College Hostellers’ Association to develop the camaraderie and sporting skills of the hostel students.
